- Challenge: The customer is a new owner/operator of a farm in the UK. In the first few weeks since taking possession of the property, they have had a tractor and other farming equipment stolen. They want to be able to stop such crimes and even worse in the future. Motion detection systems provide too many false alarms and external response in the region is expensive and slow.
- Action: Ethersec installed Deep A-Eye™ which runs on 16 cameras around the main building of the property. There is an extra feature being used that when a human is detected, the property manager can send out a voice to text message over loud speaker to deter that person from entering. The GIF file of that person can then be immediately sent to police or security forces.
- Result: So far there have not been any incidents or false positive (alarms) at the site. The customer is extremely satisfied with the ease of use of the system – they can monitor all 16 cameras from their mobile phone or the web and alerts of visitors to the farm have been instantly received.
